Support

You can help the Charity by making a donation. All donations will be used to promote the aims and objectives of the Charity. In particular, we are trying to establish the Harbour Trail which requires a number of Plinths and Plaques to be erected at important sites around Poole Harbour. You can help us by making a monitory donation or by donating your time and effort to help us. Find out more below:

Gift Aid

The Inland Revenue runs a scheme designed to help charities, like ours, reclaim tax that would normally be paid on a donation to us. We can claim back the 25% of your donation which would normally go to the tax man. This scheme applies to UK tax payers only. All you have to do is put details of your donation on your tax return or self assessment form, and complete our Gift Aid declaration form which lets us know your Name and Address.

Your Will

If you would like to leave a gift to us in your will, it can be as simple as making an addition to your will via a codacil. By adding this supplement to your will you can add or delete instructions without having to re-write your whole will. There are two main ways of making a gift, one is by making Residuary gift and one is by making a Pecuniary gift. Residuary - you can choose to leave a share, or the whole, of what is left in your estate once you have provided for your loved ones. Pecuniary - you can choose to give a gift of a fixed amount of money

Your Time

We rely a lot on volunteers to help run the Charity, your time and effort would be of great help to us. If you could spare a few hours to help us, please get in touch.
